The firmware is applicable for all qualifying models that have software version 1.21 or earlier and all new models will now ship with the updated firmware.

Firmware update Ver.2.00 for ILCE-6000 (Windows).Firmware update Ver.2.00 for ILCE-6000 (Mac).The system software version is displayed as illustrated below.On the camera, select Menu > Setup subpage > Version.Step 2: Confirm the system software version of your device is Ver.3.21. Please wait until this warning disappears. After restarting, a data recovery warning is sometimes displayed. Make sure the device is turned on and wait until the LCD screen starts up.Click Finish when the LCD screen appears and disconnect the USB cable. When the update is complete, the device will automatically restart.Note: Never turn off the camera or disconnect the USB cable while updating. The progress bar appears during the update process (approximately 15 minutes). After automatically resetting, the following screen is shown.Follow the cameraвЂ™s screen to press the center of the control wheel, then click on the computer screen.
